Los Angeles County’s property values have reached an incredible milestone, with the 2026 Assessment Roll now at a record $2.272 trillion—a 4.42% increase. This translates to over $27 billion generated in property tax revenue. New construction contributed $12 billion, and property transfers added another $49 billion. The median home price in our area has climbed to $982,000. As someone who has worked in Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Calabasas, Sherman Oaks, and surrounding communities for over 23 years, I’ve seen firsthand how our real estate market continues to grow and evolve.
