As someone who has spent over two decades helping clients buy and sell luxury homes throughout Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, and the wider Los Angeles area, I understand how crucial it is to balance growth with our community’s unique character and safety. The recent proposal for 398 new housing units on a Los Angeles private golf course brings to light important conversations about how we create more homes while preserving the green spaces that define our neighborhoods. Fire safety, emergency access, and infrastructure are always top of mind for my clients, especially in our region. This project highlights the ongoing challenge of meeting housing demand, maintaining water efficiency, and protecting the spaces that make our communities special.
